  • Monday, May 24th – First punch for hourly/non-exempt employees (including sick days and vacation requests)
  • Monday, May 31st – Salary/exempt employees begin to record sick days and submit vacation requests
  • Friday, June 4th – Supervisors begin to approve timecards

Why are we making this move?

WesternU will be making a university-wide payroll software transition from Banner to ADP Workforce Now ® (WFN). The Workforce Now ® payroll system, online portal, and mobile app will provide consistency throughout the University and increase functionality and process efficiencies needed to support our employees in today’s dynamic workplace.

It is our goal to ensure you are aware of the upcoming changes and are prepared to transition smoothly.

  • Hourly employees clocking in and out daily, which ensures accurate real-time data without the need for intervention.
  • Vacation requests and approvals along with sick time entry for both exempt and non-exempt employees eliminating the need for paper timecard and paper time-off requests.
  • A single website portal or mobile app that allows real-time access to you and your team’s information.

  • Non-exempt employees clocking in and out daily, which ensures accurate real-time data without the need for intervention
    • Single website portal or app for supervisors to approve bi-weekly timecards
      • Real time access to your information and information about your team including time off, daily time punches, sick time taken, etc.
  • Fully electronic and automated routing for vacation requests and approvals along with sick time entry for both exempt and non-exempt employees
    • Single website portal or app to request time off and record sick time
    • Eliminates the need for paper timecard and paper time-off requests and manual approvals
