
Curriculum
The WesternU’s Entry-level Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) program is eight trimesters. The curriculum includes over 90 credit hours, fieldwork and an advanced practice clinical capstone experience & project dissemination leading towards an advanced practice certificate (Pelvic Health, Mental Health, Oncology/Lymphedema, Autism & Neurodivergence, Health Coaching, Neurorehabilitation, and Hand Therapy). The program offers a flexible, hybrid, multimodal learning model. Students complete at least 51% of the program on-site. Community health partnerships will provide students with real-life experiences gaining valuable knowledge and skills.
