The Saturday Academy is designed to be modular, in order to provide age and interest appropriate activities. They include a plenary session with required attendance by both students and parents, followed by topic or discipline specific lectures, break-out activities, and other hands-on experience for the students. They are staffed by WesternU faculty and students, and each session is designed to meet specific state educational guidelines.

Please note that all students must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or other responsible adult. A signed Registration/Permission slip is required to attend.

Organizations participating in these events include WesternU's club Pipeline to Health Careers and service learning students under the direction of Dr. Louise Muscato.
