Saturday Academy for High School and Middle School Students

COMP-Northwest, through the student organization Pipeline to Health Careers, conducts a series of Saturday morning sessions for students in Lebanon and surrounding communities.

These are fun, active and informative workshops for parents and 6th-12th grade students. Presentations and hands-on learning sessions are conducted by a variety of professionals and COMP-Northwest, Oregon State University, and Linn Benton Community College students.


One Saturday approximately each month 8:45am - 12:00 noon.

November 16 - Agricultural Science

February 1 - The Human Body

March 14 - Immunity
April 25 - Health Career Day

A free lunch is provided to all who attend.

The Saturday Academy is designed to be modular, in order to provide age and interest appropriate activities. They include a plenary session with required attendance by both students and parents, followed by topic or discipline specific lectures, break-out activities, and other hands-on experience for the students. They are staffed by COMP-Northwest faculty and students, and each session is designed to meet specific state educational guidelines.

Please note that all students must be accompanied by a parent, guardian or other responsible adult.
