Christina Warner

Christina Warner (Cici), BS

Also known as Cici, I grew up in central Massachusetts between a goat pasture and a corn field. High school was rough, I blocked it out of my memory. I moved to DC to become an engineer and worked in a nerdy lab for 2 years after graduating. When I am not shedding tears over the copious amount of notes I still have to take for class, you will find me curled up in front of my fireplace with my two overly fluffy cats and a fantasy adventure novel. I am a collector of cat and unicorn shirts. If asked what my favorite genre of music is, I will immediately reply “Christmas,” (the Grinch need only have listened to Michael Buble to warm his pruny heart).

I am originally from England, but consider Salem to be my hometown. I grew up loving science and math, and always knew I wanted to be a physician as well as a mom. I did the mom thing first, and I have 4 kids. I am truly blessed to be able to follow the other part of my dream at this stage of my life! I love working with kids and love LHCL!

I am from Olympia, Washington and graduated from Saint Martin's University in 2014 with a major in biology and minor in chemistry. My favorite things to do are baking, reading, going on kayak adventures with my friends, and spending as much free time as possible with my family. I look forward to helping to inspire a love of science and medicine in all of the kids who come to LHCL!

Kuan Chen

Kuan Chen, BA
High School Curriculum Coordinator

I was born in Taiwan. I did my high school and undergrad in Colorado. Throughout my education, I've always liked sciences and math and I've always wanted to work in healthcare. I used to help the young people figure out what they want to do and how to achieve their goals at my church. I would like to continue doing that. I also worked over 6 years of healthcare and a few years in research, and I would love to share these experiences with the local students.
