Medicine in 1982. He completed surgical residency at University of Cincinnati in 1988 and a thoracic surgery residency at the Medical University of South Carolina in 1991. After a career in private practice at The Oregon Clinic in cardiac, thoracic, and vascular surgery, he joined the Providence Heath leadership team in 2017 where he held a variety of surgical leadership positions.<\/p>\n<p class=\"s6\"><strong><span class=\"s10\">Norman E. Vinn, DO<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"s6\"><span class=\"s11\">Dr. Vinn is <\/span><span class=\"s11\">a board-certified family practitioner, is the founder and CEO of The <\/span><span class=\"s11\">Residentialist<\/span><span class=\"s11\"> Group Inc., a management services organization specializing in development and management of <\/span><span class=\"s11\">residentialist<\/span><span class=\"s11\">housecall<\/span><span class=\"s11\"> networks that serve frail, elderly, and other access-challenged patients. Dr. Vinn specializes in home-based geriatric medicine. His <\/span><span class=\"s11\">residentialist<\/span><span class=\"s11\"> network enhances traditional <\/span><span class=\"s11\">housecall<\/span><span class=\"s11\"> services with inter-professional team care and a state-of-the-art integrated technology platform.<\/span> <span class=\"s11\">Dr. Vinn holds a bachelor\u2019s degree in English literature from Tulane University and a DO degree from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine. He completed his postdoctoral medical training at what is now Beaumont General Hospital in Farmington Hills, MI, <\/span><span class=\"s11\">and later attended the University of Southern California Marshall School of Business, where he obtained a Master of Business Administration degree.<\/span><span class=\"s11\">In addition to his current leadership activities within the American Academy of Home Care Medicine, Dr. Vinn has had an extensive career in professional association governance and leadership. He served as the 2013\u201314 president of the American Osteopathic Association and is the board chair of the American Osteopathic Information Association, an organization affiliated with the American Osteopathic Association (AOA) and dedicated to advancing technology, practice management, advocacy, and medical informatics. She was born and raised in Belleville, Kansas and became a physician at the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City. Never satisfied with knowing half the story, Dr. Liu earned her undergraduate degree in History and Science at Harvard College, learning about the when and why of medicine, as well as the what and how. She completed residency at Oregon Health &amp; Science University, with dual board certification in Family Medicine as well as Preventive Medicine and Public Health. For over a decade in community-based medical education he led clinical, administrative, and academic teams to new achievements by integrating patient care, quality and safety, and the business principles foundational to modern systems-based practice. Now, he pays the lessons from those experiences forward as author of the book <\/span><span class=\"s18\">Let Me Lead: Escaping the Experience Bias and Excelling as an Early-Career Professional <\/span><span class=\"s8\">and speaks nationally on a variety of topics relevant to medical students, physicians, and early career professionals. She earned her Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine degree from the New York College of Osteopathic Medicine in Westbury, Long Island. She completed her residency at Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Massachusetts, followed by a prestigious\u00a0surgical\u00a0pathology fellowship at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, with a focus on breast pathology. She also completed a fellowship in cytopathology at Oregon Health &amp; Science University.<\/span><span class=\"s22\">\u202f<\/span><span class=\"s21\">\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s21\">Dr. Ricketts-Loriaux has been with Northwest Permanente,\u00a0PC,\u00a0since 2008 and currently serves as the Medical Director of External Affairs for Northwest Permanente. He began his pediatric residency in South Dakota and completed it at Oklahoma State University in Tulsa, OK. Throughout his career, Dr. Hentges has held various leadership roles, including serving on the board of trustees for the American Osteopathic Association as both a student and resident. Board-certified in emergency medicine, fellowship-trained in administrative medicine, and certified as a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt, Dr. Oaxaca works at the intersection of clinical care, operations, and organizational strategy to build safer, more accessible, and more sustainable healthcare systems. He earned his medical degree from Texas Tech University Health Sciences Center El Paso, completed his emergency medicine residency at Indiana University School of Medicine, and received his MBA from Indiana University\u2019s Kelley School of Business. A published researcher, educator, and healthcare leader, Dr. Oaxaca received the American College of Emergency Physicians\u2019 2025 Community Emergency Medicine Excellence Award for his contributions to advancing care in the communities he serves.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s6\"><strong><span class=\"s10\">Micah Thorp, DO, MPH, FACP, FASN<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"s30\"><span class=\"s11\">Dr Thorp is a Nephrologist at Northwest Permanente where he has practiced for over 25 years. \u00a0After graduating from Oregon State University, he went to medical school at University of Des Moines, attended Internal Medicine Residency at Providence St Vincent\u2019s and a Nephrology Fellowship at Oregon Health and Sciences University where he also completed a Master\u2019s in Public Health. \u00a0He joined Northwest Permanente in 2000 where he sees patients and is an affiliate investigator at Kaiser\u2019s Center for Health Research where he works primarily in predictive analytics. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s30\"><span class=\"s11\">At Northwest Permanente he has held executive positions as Chief of Nephrology, Vice President of Business Affairs and President of Morlen Health. \u00a0At the Center for Health Research, he has served as co-director of the Predictive Analytics Unit. \u00a0Currently Dr Thorp serves on the Oregon Medical Board. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s30\"><span class=\"s11\">In addition to his medical career Dr Thorp enjoys creative writing. \u00a0His latest novel, <\/span><span class=\"s31\">Aegolius Creek<\/span><span class=\"s11\"> was published by Type Eighteen Books in 2025.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s33\"><strong><span class=\"s7\">Saroj Misra, DO, FACOFP <\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"s33\"><span class=\"s8\">Dr. Misra is the Associate Dean of Clinical Affairs <\/span><span class=\"s8\">at<\/span> <span class=\"s8\">the<\/span> <span class=\"s8\">Kirksville<\/span><span class=\"s8\"> College of Osteopathic Medicine at A.T.
