The WesternU COVID-19 Dashboard includes data collected during the WesternU contact tracing and testing processes for faculty, staff, and students enrolled at both the Pomona, CA and Lebanon, OR campuses. WesternU continues to encourage remote work and learning with limited on-campus activities, which includes essential training and activities for students. The WesternU Contact Tracing Task Force traces and tracks all student and employees COVID-19 exposure, symptoms, and positive case reports regardless of whether the individuals have been on campus. Data below for contact tracing (Positive COVID-19 Cases, Investigations Close, Isolation, and Quarantine) includes WesternU community members ranging from individuals on campus for essential activities to those that have never been on campus. WesternU initiated campus testing protocols starting in January 2021 to monitor for outbreaks and asymptomatic individuals.

Currently in Isolation
Isolation data is collected from the WesternU Contact Tracing Task Force and includes students and employees who are confirmed or suspected COVID-19 positive and are required to be in home isolation.
Currently in Quarantine
Quarantine data is collected from the WesternU Contact Tracing Task Force and includes students and employees who are in home quarantine due to close contact exposure with a COVID-19 positive individual.

Total TestsTotal tests is a cumulative total of RT-PCR and Rapid Antigen tests conducted by WesternU on campus and at locations used for campus-based activities. Employees and Students on campus for essential activities are included in the testing pool established by WesternU testing protocols for surveillance screening.
Total Positives Total Positives is a cumulative total of RT-PCR and Rapid Antigen tests conducted by WesternU on campus and at locations used for campus-based activities. This data includes Rapid Antigen tests that may have been confirmed negative by a follow up RT-PCR test.
Positivity Rate WesternU Positivity Rate is calculated based on all RT-PCR and Rapid Antigen tests conducted by WesternU on campus and at locations used for campus-based activities. The percent positive is based on the WesternU testing protocols utilized for surveillance purposes, not solely based on testing after individuals are exposed or experiencing symptoms.
