The regulation requires every employer to develop and implement an effective IIPP. The written plan must contain:

  • Responsibility
  • Compliance
  • Communication
  • Hazard Assessment
  • Accident/Exposure Investigation
  • Hazard Correction
  • Training and Instruction
  • Recordkeeping

Each college and department is required to develop a customized IIPP specific to the unit’s workplace.
