– Update, manage, coordinate and execute new student online sexual harassment training
– Communicate and update (as necessary) LiveSafe application for university
Clubs
– Plan, coordinate and execute two club information days on campus (Fall and Spring Club Days)
– Manage requests and reserve campus space for 120+ clubs on the Pomona, CA campus
– Manage club lockers and coordinate keys for club leaders
– Train club advisors (faculty and staff) on club processes and procedures
– Creation of and maintenance of club SharePoint sites
– Management and maintenance of club email accounts
– Management and maintenance of class email accounts
– Advisement to club leaders
Design Approvals
– Ensure branding standards are maintained with club and class purchased goods by approving designs that are in line with University Graphics Branding Standards
Facilities
– Routinely check, maintain and coordinate university maintenance for student commons areas on campus (RWC, HSC, HPC, VCC, HEC)
– Vending machine maintenance, communication and refunds if necessary
Incoming Students
– Plan and coordinate new student university orientation
– Participate and provide information at Recruitment Preview events
Reimbursements
– Process military student reimbursements in collaboration with the University Bookstore
Student Government Association
– Manage and execute SGA Executive and Class elections process in coordination with student government/leaders
– Advisement to Student Government Association – Executive
– Advisement to Student Government Association – Class
– Leadership development to SGA Executive Board
Student-Led Events
– Educate student leaders and approve student-led events that include alcohol served on campus
– Provide general risk management information to student leaders for organized activities including but not limited to food served on campus and liability waivers
– Train student leaders, in coordination with University Advancement, on proper fundraising protocol
Student Services
– Notary services
– Coordination, management and execution of student fitness benefits
– Management of student and employee discount offers from outside vendors Coordination of student health insurance benefit
– Information dissemination and inquiries for student health insurance
– Management of student business card orders (twice per year)
– Student appointments (as requested) for issues or concerns
– Management of off-campus housing options (roommate finder, available listings)
– Manage and distribute student events newsletter (Monday Mail) to campus
– Coordinate and mail graduate gift (previously Neocortex yearbook; 2016+ printed class photo)
Travel
– Approve and track all student travel requests (online travel notification form)
– Approve student organized international experiences in coordination with Risk Management and Legal
Volunteer Opportunities
– Coordination and execution of community service events (Interprofessional Health Fair at the LA County Fair and Santa’s Workshop)
– Train student leaders, coordinate with Risk Management and Legal, and approve student-led health fairs
– Communicate with community partners to seek student volunteers (ex: health fairs)
