2xl:w-9\/12\">\n        <p><strong>The Committee will advise the President on positioning the University for strength in the coming decade by:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Using situational analysis, informed by research data, to identify institutional and college-level challenges and opportunities in the internal and external environment.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Prioritizing areas for short- and long-term investment.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Intentionally building an ethnically, racially, and culturally diverse healthcare workforce of excellence through collaborations and strategic partnerships to improve the quality and delivery of healthcare nationally and globally.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Developing criteria and benchmarks for assessing progress toward WesternU\u2019s strategic goals.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>The committee will fulfill its charge by:\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Developing a roadmap for WesternU\u2019s strategic path forward and setting the trajectory for college-level plans based on the challenges and opportunities of each academic unit.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Working collaboratively with students, staff, faculty, and alumni to support academic and administrative units in creating a framework that outlines the strategic path forward and supports their alignment with a university-wide plan.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">In the practice of shared governance, collaborating with students, staff, faculty, alumni, and other key stakeholders via a comprehensive outreach and engagement strategy.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Reviewing campus feedback and survey
