While at CAL, she was the course director and co-Editor in Chief for ISSUES, Berkeley Medical Journal, a public health journal. She then attended California State Polytechnic University, Pomona where she attained her M.S. in biological sciences. After completing her Masters, she was awarded her D.D.S. from the University of the Pacific Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry. She is actively involved in projects, collaborations, and grant-funded opportunities to better serve the community throughout L.A. County and with the Special Olympics.
