On Thursday, May 19, 2016, the Colleges of Optometry & Graduate Nursing celebrated their 2016 graduates at the 35th Annual Commencement Exercises for Western University of Health Sciences. 73 new doctors entered the profession of Optometry and we are very excited to witness their impact on the profession. The College of Optometry offers an innovative Doctor of Optometry program that emphasizes optometric rehabilitation including neuro-optometry. This emerging specialty helps patients who have visual and perceptual problems as a result of brain injury, stroke, physical disability or neurological illness.
