    For the second consecutive year, U.S. News & World Report has named Western University of Health Sciences’ College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific (COMP) and COMP-Northwest as a Tier 1 institution for primary care training. WesternU could not be more proud of its faculty, administration, staff and students for this incredible achievement. WesternU has also been recognized for the most graduates in Primary Care, Practicing in Professional Shortage Areas and a Tier 4 medical school for Research.       WesternU California, located in Pomona, California, is in the middle of an urban downtown with a true West Coast vibe surrounded by art galleries, dance studios, concert halls, along with niche coffee houses and restaurants.

      WesternU Oregon has two campuses in the City of Lebanon. Known as “The City that Friendliness Built,” Lebanon is a rural beauty known for its wooded forests, scenic rivers and beautiful waterfalls.

  • Western University of Health Sciences students from the Pediatric Interest Group hosted about 40 children - who were mostly kindergarten students - for the school’s inaugural Mini-Medical School at the Pomona campus, Saturday, Sept 22, 2018. Second-year College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific student Vivian Okonta shows kindergarten student Claudia Reyes, of Pomona, how to use a stethescope. Kindergarteners learned about the human body and medicine through four stations taught by WesternU students: Bone station, heart and pulse station, hand hygiene station and mini operating room.
