Western University of Health Sciences is an independent nonprofit health professions university, conferring degrees in dental medicine, health sciences, medical sciences, nursing, optometry, osteopathic medicine, pharmacy, physical therapy, physician assistant studies, podiatric medicine and veterinary medicine.

For over 45 years, WesternU has prepared health care professionals for long-term career success. Our educational approach is centered around humanistic values, so that our graduates treat every patient as the unique individual they are. WesternU is one of the largest graduate schools for the health sciences in California and the only osteopathic medical school in Oregon. Part of our proud humanistic mission is to serve the Pomona and Lebanon communities and its surrounding region with exemplary health services while many of our 150 student clubs provided community-partnership programs.

    We offer a wide variety of public health & welfare services for our neighbors, faculty, staff and students. WesternU Health has locations in Los Angeles (CA), Pomona (CA), Rancho Mirage (CA) and Portland (OR). We offer the following specialized care services: Dental, Eye, Foot & Ankle, Medical Specialty, Pharmacy & Travel Health, and Primary. Pomona also offers Pet Health including acupuncture, dental, diagnostics, nutrition, radiology, surgery, vaccinations, and wellness.

    WesternU Oregon brings the best of our humanistic education and community outreach to Lebanon. It’s the place to get experience in rural medicine and health care. We prepare tomorrow’s medical professionals to practice from the Pacific Northwest to all corners of the globe with purpose, passion, and skill and serve society by providing comprehensive, patient-centered healthcare. Community partnerships include Boys and Girls Club (Lebanon/Sweet Home), C.H.A.N.C.E, COVID Screening Volunteering, Crossroads Community, DREAM, Family Assistance and Resource Center Group, Lebanon Downtown Association, Lebanon Fire Department, Lebanon Health Career Ladder, Lebanon Senior Center, Lebanon Soup Kitchen, Lebanon Veterans Home, Linn County Public Health – Linn County Health Fairs, Lumina Hospice, MedWell, Planting Seeds of Change, School District, Special Olympics, The Oaks of Lebanon, Willamette Manor, and World Athletics Championships 2022.
