Oregon Riverfront Campus Campaign

Why This Fund?
Western University of Health Sciences has been a proud part of the Lebanon community since 2004, when we first launched the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific’s “Northwest Track.” This initiative allowed students from the Pacific Northwest to return home for their clinical rotations, creating a foundation for what would become the College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific-Northwest (COMP-Northwest).
In 2011, in partnership with Samaritan Health Services, we opened Oregon’s first medical school in more than 100 years. Since then, WesternU has grown to train over 500 students annually in osteopathic medicine and physical therapy across two campuses, and we’ve expanded our community health services through WesternU Health Oliver Station and the pro-bono physical therapy Practical Applications Labs (PALs).
Through this fund, you can help expand the development of a permanent home for COMP-Northwest, a new behavioral health college, the College of Graduate Nursing, and additional facilities. These developments will address critical health care needs, such as behavioral and rural health, while also enhancing access to services and education for the community.
