Academic Boot Camp (ABC)

Academic Boot Camp (ABC) is designed for new WesternU Faculty who have joined the university within the past year. ABC emphasizes the pedagogical basics of learning objectives, learning events, and assessment item writing. This session has been specifically redesigned to not only cover good pedagogy, but also how to incorporate educational technology tools when teaching remote or in-person.

ABC is an intensive 4-day program consisting of 3 days of teaching topics, and 1 day for capstone presentations by participants. Attendance at all four days of ABC is required.
