Ways to Give

The ways to make an impact are limitless.

Thanks to the generosity and commitment of donors, alumni, and supporters, WesternU can continue its mission of teaching the health care professionals of the future. Through this work, patients and communities benefit from humanistic health care that only our alumni can provide.

Generous partners like you provide the crucial support needed for these efforts and make this all possible.

The best part is, there are many convenient ways to give that can fit your individual needs and interests. You can make an immediate impact by giving online or send a check. A pledge gift allows you to support WesternU over a period of time that works for you, while planned gifts establish future giving in a legacy that spans for generations to come. The options are many, but the impact is unmeasurable.

Your gift to WesternU can also assist your financial, philanthropic, and estate-planning goals while often providing significant tax benefits for you and your family.

Regardless of how and what you decide to give, your gift will ensure we can continue the important work of teaching students and impacting patients in the humanistic way WesternU is known for. Please explore below to learn more about the ways you can help support the future of health care at WesternU and beyond!

  • Matching Gifts – Multiply Your Impact

Matching gifts are a great way to multiply your impact by using your personal or professional network, and even others in the WesternU community! Here’s how:

Use Your Gift for a Match Campaign
Challenging your friends, family, coworkers, and others in the community to match your donation is a great way to expand your impact on students and communities. For example, we can help you create a match challenge mini-campaign on social media encouraging others to contribute to match your donation of $5,000 or more. This way, you have the potential of raising $10,000 or more! We can help you choose the fund – too.

Ask Your Employer to Match Your Gift
Many employers will match tax-deductible charitable contributions made by their employees, retirees and employees’ spouses. Some provide matching funds to support employee volunteer hours. The gift you give today could be DOUBLED OR EVEN TRIPLED.

THREE EASY STEPS FOR DOUBLING YOUR GIFT WITH A COMPANY MATCH

    1. Check with your company’s Human Resources department to see if a matching gift program is available.
    2. Complete the requirements your company has in place for matching gifts.
