LEAD Learning Skills Specialists

Through facilitated conversations with LEAD Learning Skills Specialists (LSS), students acquire new skills in areas of academic success and wellbeing.  Sessions are 50 minutes in length, confidential, free, and offer personalized support to each student. Topics covered may include but are not limited to: 
  • academic writing
  • focus
  • stress management
  • study skills
  • test taking
  • time management
  • wellbeing

Guidelines and Expectations

  • Students may schedule 50 minute meeting up to 24 hours in advance
  • improve their writing effectiveness.  Students will develop skills in writing processes such critical thinking, organization, clarity, and persuasion.  Students should provide relevant materials (document, prompt, rubric, special notes) at or before each session.
