Dr. Alexander Lee serves as Professor and Assistant Dean for Dental Informatics at the Western University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine. A recognized expert in dental informatics, his work focuses on leveraging technology and artificial intelligence to enhance clinical efficiency and educational processes. He earned his DMD from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine after receiving a Bachelor of Science from the University of California, Davis.
Dr. Lee is an active leader in his field, currently serving as the Chair of the American Dental Education Association (ADEA) Section of Dental Informatics. He has contributed numerous publications and is a frequent speaker on technology, artificial intelligence, mixed reality, and innovative teaching pedagogies.
He is an alumnus of the ADEA Leadership Institute and a Fellow of both the American College of Dentists (FACD) and the Pierre Fauchard Academy (PFA). In recognition of his dedication, WesternU CDM named him the 2023 Faculty of the Year. His passion lies in bridging the gap between cutting-edge technology and practical application in dentistry.
