Dr. Joori Kim Cho grew up in Torrance, California. She received her Bachelor of Sciences in Biological Sciences from the University of California at Irvine in 1994. She then attended the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine in Philadelphia. Upon graduating, Dr. Kim returned to her native Southern California and has been in private practice since 1998. She joined Western University College of Dental Medicine as a part-time faculty in 2012 and within a year, she became full-time faculty as a Clinical Team Leader. Outside of dentistry, Dr. Kim enjoys spending quality time with her husband, John and children, Nick and Ally.
