Dear WesternU Community,
On this Mother’s Day, I extend my warmest wishes to all mothers, grandmothers, mothers-in-law, stepmothers, foster mothers, guardians, mentors, and all those who provide the profound gifts of care, guidance, sacrifice, and unconditional love. Let us celebrate for this entire month of May!
Mother’s Day offers us a meaningful opportunity to honor the extraordinary individuals whose compassion, strength, wisdom, and devotion shape families, communities, and generations. Their influence is often quiet but immeasurable; their love often selfless, enduring, and transformative.
At Western University of Health Sciences, where humanism is central to who we are, we recognize the essential role of caregiving in its many forms. The spirit of motherhood reflects many of the values we cherish most deeply: empathy, resilience, service, healing, hope, and love expressed through action.
To the mothers within our university community, our students, faculty, staff, administrators, alumni, Trustees, and friends, a very heartfelt “thank you” for all that you do, seen and unseen. To those remembering mothers or mother figures today, may this day bring comfort, gratitude, and peace.
