Dear WesternU Faculty, Staff, and Students,
I hope this message finds you well. I am writing to share a recent development regarding our Board of Trustees.
Dr. James Lally, a dedicated member of the Board of Trustees who was serving as the Board’s vice chair, has resigned from the Board for personal reasons. Dr. Lally is a dual alumnus from WesternU earning degrees in Osteopathic Medicine and Health Professions Education. Dr. Lally joined the Board of Trustees in 2020 and during his tenure, he has demonstrated steadfast support, dedication and commitment to the University and has been instrumental in guiding important Board initiatives in alignment with WesternU’s mission.
We respect Dr. Lally’s decision to step down from the Board of Trustees and want to emphasize that Dr. Lally’s commitment to WesternU and its’ mission and values remains unwavering. As we navigate this transition, we are grateful for Dr. Lally’s past contributions and ongoing support.
Please join me in thanking Dr. Lally for his several years of service to WesternU. His presence and leadership will be missed.
