Our Department

Our team is comprised of Facilities Operations & Physical Plant. Our team works together, with the collective goal toward maintaining University Campus Standards and Board of Trustees Directives.
  • Facilities

    We manage facilities administrative logistics at both our California and Oregon campuses. We maintain campus operations for university administration, faculty and staff. The department manages custodial maintenance, fleet management, preventive maintenance and trades. Operations also assists on special projects as directed by the office of Institutional Shared Services.
  • Physical Plant

    The Physical Plant team maintains all California and Oregon buildings, equipment, and grounds to meet all University and local code ordinances. It manages routine maintenance for equipment and systems. Coordinates and verifies quality of repairs.

    The easiest and fastest way to request non-emergency service is by filling out a TDX Service Request Form.

    The Customer Service Office is open Monday thru Friday, 8 am to 5 pm, and can be reached at Ext. 5258 or (909) 469-5258 or by email at facilities@westernu.edu.

    For after hour electrical, plumbing, or air conditioning emergencies (after 5 pm Monday thru Friday, holidays, or weekends), call Campus Security at Ext. 3000 or (909) 706-3000.
