WesternU Disbursement and Loan Cancellation Information

Disbursements

WesternU students that have completed all of the registration and financial aid requirements,  and do not have any holds on their student account, in good academic standing and full time status, should be eligible for disbursement based on how much the student borrowed. Enrolled students may access their disbursement information through the WesternU student portal.

Disbursements will be applied to the students account to pay off tuition and fees, if there is a credit balance it will be disbursed to the students checking account on the students scheduled disbursement date, via EFT.

Loan disbursement dates are based on the length of each program’s enrollment period.

Federal regulations require that all federal funds be divided into equal payments.

Incoming students will be able to access their disbursement information for their program AFTER they have been assigned a WesternU email address and an officially enrolled student.
