Master of Science in Nursing

Take your nursing career to the next level by earning your Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) and Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) certificate in two year. Our College of Graduate Nursing offers nationally recognized programs for working nurse professionals. Our hybrid online learning program delivers the knowledge and skills to prepare you for your FNP role. Our campus-based seminar intensives, on the WesternU California campus, and clinical experiences in a designated community will prepare you for practice within a variety of healthcare settings.

Post-Master’s Certificate Programs

Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP)

Our hybrid FNP program integrates online learning with intensive campus-based seminars and clinical experiences across a variety of healthcare and community practice settings.

Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)

The PMHNP program integrates online learning with intensive clinical simulation days and clinical experiences in your own community.

Emergency Nurse Practitioner (ENP)

Our ENP Certificate is designed for nationally certified Family Nurse Practitioners (FNP) who wish to work in the subspecialty areas of Urgent Care or Emergency Department settings.

The College of Graduate Nursing at WesternU pioneered the delivery of a web-based family nurse practitioner program – the very first of its kind at the time of its inception in 1997. We offer stipends or loan forgiveness for some of the programs and the majority of the work is done online.
