WesternU Humanistic Recruitment

Humanistic Recruitment at WesternU

At WesternU, we understand that humanistic healthcare environments play a role in reducing health disparities. For this reason, to both empower and help build a sense of community, we will strive to connect you with healthcare professionals and current students who share similar lived experiences or who have faced similar obstacles as you may have. Connecting with other individuals who were once in your shoes, helps to ease the anxiety of navigating the admissions process. We hope to be of service to you as you embark on your journey into your graduate health professions program.

Building Relationships

Building strong relationships with various community organizations, Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCUs), and Hispanic Serving Institutions (HSIs) is part of the work that we do in recruitment. We host events and one-on-one advising for students to encourage community on our campus.
