Serve as a member of the faculty for the College of Graduate Nursing, and teach in the CGN programs, participate in college and university committees, conduct scholarly research, and perform other such duties as directed by the Site Dean or Dean of the College.

The Site Dean, CGN-NW, is the administrative leader of the College of Graduate Nursing – Oregon’s academic components. The Site Dean, CGN-NW, reports directly to the Dean, CGN, and CGN-NW and has general responsibility for implementation and coordination of all academic functions within the College as assigned by the Dean, CGN, and CGN-NW. The associate and assistant deans and other heads of academic components of CGN report to the Site Dean, CGN-NW, for administrative components of their academic responsibilities for curriculum delivery and student academic success.The Site Dean, CGN-NW, supports the Dean, CGN, and CGN-NW in allocating and utilizing resources for the implementation of all its academic programs. Reporting to the Dean, CGN and CGN-NW, the Site Dean is responsible for exercising leadership in the delivery of programs of instruction, research, and services across the academic components, and works closely with administration to fulfill this responsibility. The position also works closely with members of the CGN Executive Leadership Team and is guided by an awareness of the College’s overall goals when making recommendations and taking actions that affect the academic programs. The Site Dean, CGN-NW, may consult with individuals and groups within the College in carrying out the position responsibilities.
