Mission Statement

The Office of Clinical Education provides COMP (COMP-Pomona and COMP- Northwest) OMS (Osteopathic Medical Student) III and IV students with the best possible clinical education opportunities to prepare them for residency training.

The Clinical Education Preceptor Program is integral to the future of healthcare. As a preceptor, you provide your expertise, commitment to scientific excellence and compassionate patient care by using education, experience and training to future physicians preparing them for the role of expert care provider and, in the process, assure that the profession grows and thrives.

Preceptors provide clinical education, supervision and evaluation of students within a clinical setting.
