Postdoctoral Training Develop clinical skills

Postdoctoral trainees will focus on enhancing their clinical, research and teaching skills. WesternU has a rich history of providing first class training for postdocs and mentorship towards successful careers in clinical, research and academic settings. All postdoctoral trainees will participate in both the teaching and research certificate programs. Residents and Fellows will have the opportunity to participate in didactic and experiential teaching, as well as assist in the development of clinical skills with pharmacy students in all phases of pharmacy school. WesternU has an innovative block structure in the curriculum, which allows students to focus on one topic at a time, and for faculty (and other lecturers) to focus their teaching time. WesternU is a leader in providing interprofessional education and teaching evidence-based clinical practice.

WesternU programs include 15 days paid time off, health insurance, parking, $1,000 travel stipend, and 403(b) with employer contribution. Postdoctoral trainees are provided a faculty appointment within the Department of Pharmacy Practice and Administration and will have access to all of the faculty resources both within the College and the University.
