Stakeholder Feedback Informing the 2025-2030 Strategic Plan
The 2025-2030 Strategic Plan, Tomorrow’s WesternU, was shaped through one of the most comprehensive stakeholder engagement efforts in the university’s history. Faculty, staff, students, administrators, alumni, community members, and external stakeholders provided feedback through town halls, planning sessions, student vision forums, surveys, and community outreach activities.
The resulting Strategic Planning Engagement Report summarizes the themes, priorities, opportunities, and challenges identified throughout this process and demonstrates how stakeholder feedback informed the final strategic plan.

The strategic planning engagement process included:
- Approximately 200 Town Hall participants
- More than 100 Faculty and Staff Session participants
- More than 20 Student Vision Forum participants
- 260 Quick Pulse Survey responses
- 99 Strategic Planning Survey responses
- 20 Community Engagement Survey responses
- 589 survey responses reviewed
- 1,866 survey question responses analyzed
Participation reflected engagement from both the Pomona, California and Lebanon, Oregon campuses, ensuring that perspectives from across the university community informed the plan.
