VAC

Veterinary Ambulatory Community Service (VACS)

This program takes faculty and students into the community to provide valuable pet health care to underserved communities and animal shelters. WesternU CVM students and faculty work side-by-side as they care for pets in the local community. These hands-on experiences not only provide essential, low cost animal services, but allow students to gain hands-on experience via real-life situations and experiences.

WAVE Program

The Willed deceased Animals for Veterinary Education (WAVE) program offers pet owners a unique and meaningful opportunity to honor their departed furry friends by donating their bodies to veterinary education. You not only contribute to the advancement of veterinary medicine but also play a vital role in celebrating the lives of our animal companions. Together, we create a lasting legacy, where the love and care we shared with our pets can continue to make a profound impact on the well-being of animals in the future.
