About the Library

The Harriet K. and Philip Pumerantz Library and Learning Resource Center symbolizes WesternU’s commitment to the values of learning and research for both students and faculty. Our Mission is to support the exploration and preservation of knowledge through its creation of inclusive physical and digital spaces in which the WesternU community can utilize and access information for educational and professional success.

The Harriet K. & Philip Pumerantz Library will, above all, support and reflect the vision and goals of WesternU. The Library will be the dynamic heart of the university, we are dedicated to fostering a vibrant community by providing a safe space and the necessary information to enhance the wellbeing and development of learners, researchers, and healthcare professionals. We aim to empower our community with curated, reliable information and innovative resources, enabling them to advance health sciences, improve lives, and nurture the communities they serve.
