I am a Registered Veterinary Technician with 20 years of experience in the veterinary field. Out of those 20 years, she has 10 of those years specializing in animal ophthalmology and management aspects of the field. After 10 years of working in animal ophthalmology, she decided to go back general medicine and wanted to be able to participate in the education for future veterinarians. Her career here at Western University College of Veterinary Medicine started on November 2014. As the Veterinary Technician Manager, she loves that she can help contribute in the education of the field and also help in developing our veterinary technician team their skills and medical knowledge in order to be able to educate our students. For her to be a part of the Western U family that not only provides excellent patient care and practice with a great hospital experience, but able incorporate students learning in helping surrounding animal shelters, medical research, and really practice the reverence for life motto. She is not only dedicated to the wellness of animals and veterinary medicine, but she also passion for dancing and exercise, in which she also loves to teach Zumba as a hobby.
