Scholarly Activity
Excellence in teaching, research and clinical care is achieved through continual assessment and discovery. WesternU faculty members are expected to participate in scholarly activities consistent with their career goals. Scholarship includes research, publications and other endeavors that are peer-reviewed and non-peer reviewed, and which lead to significant advances in new information and knowledge. These endeavors may be conducted in many different environments, including the research laboratory, the classroom, and the patient care setting.
