2020 Student Highlight: WesternU CVM Summer Research Students Present Virtually at NVSS
AUG. 2020 – The WesternU CVM Veterinary Research Scholars Program is a joint venture between the College of Veterinary Medicine Office for Research and the WesternU Office of Research and Biotechnology to engage veterinary students in research during the summer months. Like many in-person events, the 2020 National Veterinary Scholars Symposium, which concludes this research program, was impacted by COVID-19. In an effort to continue this important event, this year’s symposium was moved to a virtual platform and included keynote speakers, poster sessions, and networking meetings via Vimeo and Zoom.
This year, WesternU CVM is proud to announce that a total of 27 Summer Research Scholars presented across 25 posters! These posters were presented in topic-specific sessions, and included Q&A sessions. Congratulations to all scholars and mentors for these excellent poster presentations! WesternU was well represented!
