Campus Security
Campus Security provides a high-profile presence using a variety of patrolling techniques including vehicle, foot, and bicycle patrol. We utilize armed and unarmed security personnel who are responsible for patrolling the main campus 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays. Campus Security maintains a rapid response capability to manage most security matters and receives assistance from the Pomona Police Department involving criminal incidents.
WesternU has partnered with the SafeZone mobile app to provide our community a powerful tool that will help keep our campuses safe. The free SafeZone app is available for both iOS (Apple) and Android (Google) devices.
Learning Enhancement & Academic Development (LEAD) / Tutorial Assistance Program (TAP)
Tutorial Assistance Program (TAP) services are peer-based, small group content review sessions. To receive TAP support, students must first meet with a LEAD academic counselor then, students must request a tutor. Please use this link to request a tutor after meeting with a LEAD academic counselor. Our LEAD Tutors are current and alumni students who have successfully completed the coursework you are requesting. They are eager to share their experiences to support your academic journey.
