Clinical Curriculum

As a WesternU osteopathic medical student, you’ll gain considerable early clinical experience and be well-prepared when you enter your third- and fourth-year rotations. Your rotation experiences will enable you to further develop your clinical skills.

The rotation order will vary as OMS3 schedules are selected by a lottery systemCurriculum schedule for OMS 3 Fall Semester showing 4-week rotations in Internal Medicine, Psychiatry, Elective, Pediatrics, OB GYN, plus conference and vacation weeks from August to December.

A schedule for OMS 3 Spring Semester shows seven rotations: OMM, Internal Medicine, Elective 1.1, Family Medicine, Surgery, Elective 1.2, and a conference week, each lasting 4 weeks.

The rotation order will vary for each individual student
