Note: Western University of Health Sciences provides a housing and roommate referral service as a courtesy to its students.

However, the University assumes no responsibility for the accuracy of information provided by property owners or other third parties, and each student should independently verify the condition of any property, its amenities, security arrangements and the like. Under no circumstances shall the University have any responsibility, or be liable for damages, losses, injuries or liabilities of any nature relating to any housing provided by third parties.

All students are reminded to be mindful of the potential for fraudulent rental scams, and to take common sense steps to protect against becoming a victim. It is the student’s responsibility to verify legitimacy. Never send money to someone you’ve never met in person for an apartment you haven’t seen (e.g. Venmo, Zelle, Wire Transfer).
