Dr. Dominique Griffon, DVM, MS, PhD, DECVS, DACVS

Dominique Griffon is a Professor in Small Animal Surgery and Associate Dean for Research at Western University of Health Sciences College of Veterinary Medicine. She has over 25 years of experience in veterinary education, training veterinary students in all aspects of small animal surgery. In her current role at WesternU, she oversees all research programs in the College of Veterinary Medicine, serves as program director for the veterinary scholars’ program and manages shared research resources in the college.

The Support Staff

Dr. Trinidad Cisneros, PhD – Data Analyst

Trinidad Cisneros has been part of the College since 2017. As a research analyst, he supports the college through reporting, and budget management. He has extensive experience working with students engaged in research and is the point of contact for approved stipends and research related costs.









Christiana Benoit – Administrative Associate II

Christiana has served the CVM Office for Research since 2018. She is the assistant to the Associate Dean for Research, and handles CVM Research events (Research Rounds, Research Day, etc.), the organization of the Summer Research Program, student communications, and Office visibility (website, Instagram, etc.).
