Are you ultimately interested in becoming a health professional in fields such as medicine, dentistry, podiatry, optometry, pharmacy or physical therapy?

Our 12-month Master of Science in Medical Sciences (MSMS) program will provide you with the critical evaluation skills and research awareness necessary for you to become a well-informed, evidence-based professional; something that is impossible to achieve exclusively within the time constraints of most professional degree programs.

  • Bridge the Gap to Professional School: Discover MSMS

    Thursday, July 30 at 5:00 PM Pacific Standard Time
    Join us to learn about WesternU’s one-year Master of Science in Medical Sciences (MSMS) program and how it can help you become a stronger applicant for professional school. During this session, you’ll learn about the program curriculum, admissions requirements, and the academic support and opportunities available to students. We’ll also discuss our pathway programs and how the MSMS program can help prepare you for the next step in your healthcare career. The session will be led by Dr. Licero Campbell, Associate Professor and Chair of the MSMS program, who will provide insights into the program and answer your questions during a live Q&A.

    During check-in, get your day started at our Health Professions/Resource Fairwhere you will be able to explore the diverse world of health professions and access resources available to you on your journey!

    The Health Professions/Resource Fair [8:30am-9:30am] will be right at the center of our university with several booths for you to visit including:

    • Health Professions Colleges/Programs – Osteopathic Medicine, Podiatric Medicine, Physician Assistant Studies, Graduate Nursing, Pharmacy, Physical Therapy, Optometry, Dental Medicine, Veterinary Medicine, Health Administration, Medical Sciences Masters Programs
    • WesternU University Departments/Resources – Office of Admissions, Office of International Students and Scholars, Center of Disability and Health Policy, The Daumier (Campus Housing)
    • External Support for Prospective Student – Clinical experience/Direct Patient Care, Military Partners, Shadowing Opportunities, Standardized Test Preparation, Volunteering/Community Service Opportunities

This virtual event is sponsored by the WesternU Office of Humanistic Recruitment, with the aim of supporting prospective students from all backgrounds that wish to serve in medically underserved areas. Students who attend will receive a discount on a Princeton Review Prep Course.
