    For the third consecutive year, U.S. News & World Report has named Western University of Health Sciences’ College of Osteopathic Medicine of the Pacific (COMP) and Heatherington College of Osteopathic Medicine as a Tier 1 institution for primary care training. WesternU could not be more proud of its faculty, administration, staff and students for this incredible achievement. WesternU has also been recognized for the most graduates Practicing in Primary Care, Practicing in Health Professional Shortage Areas and a Tier 4 medical school for Research.     Named a Best Grad School for Nursing Master’s Degree

    For the fourth time in the last five years, the College of Graduate Nursing (CGN) is among the best in the nation according to U.S. News & World Report 2026 Best Nursing Schools: Master’s. The CGN Master’s program is ranked No. 45 (tied) in the nation. CGN has long stood on the foundation that a master’s degree should be the entry point for nursing.
