Student Parking & Permits
Parking permits are now available for purchase through https://westernu.thepermitstore.com/purchase.php
Student parking permits (daily, semester, annual) are now available for online purchase through https://westernu.thepermitstore.com/purchase.php
Parking permit and daily permit spaces can be located on the Campus Parking Map. Student Lot assignments are subject to change due to campus construction projects. Students will be notified via their WesternU e-mail of any changes to the Student Lots. Parking permit fees are non-refundable or replaceable once purchased.
Students may also utilize daily parking permit spaces in lieu of purchasing an annual or semester parking permit. Daily permits can be purchased in-person at the Campus Store, Monday-Friday, 7:30 am – 4:00 pm, or at one of the daily parking permit dispensers. For more information on the location of daily permit dispensers, daily parking spaces and associated costs, please visit the Campus Parking Map and select the ‘Paid Daily Permit’ overview.
Please note: Daily permit rates are determined by the City of Pomona and are subject to change.

Public Parking Lots
There are several public parking lots around the Pomona campus. The City of Pomona sells hourly or daily parking passes for these lots in electronic kiosks. WesternU permits do not work in public parking lots.
Avoid Fines & Towing
To avoid being ticketed or towed, park only in spaces designated for your specific parking permit. Do not park in nearby residential lots (e.g., Daumier, The Helix, Sienna Residences) without the appropriate permit. The University is not responsible for any parking citations or towing. Parking enforcement is handled by the City of Pomona Police Department, not the University.
Beware of Scams
If you are approached by a student—or someone posing as a student—offering to sell you a parking pass, it is likely a scam. Parking passes should only be purchased through the official channels outlined here. Using or attempting to use a fraudulent parking pass is a serious violation of University policy. Students found in violation may be referred to the Student Performance Committee for disciplinary review.

Campus Security
Campus Security provides a high-profile presence using a variety of patrolling techniques including vehicle, foot, and bicycle patrol. We utilize armed and unarmed security personnel who are responsible for patrolling the main campus 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, including holidays. Campus Security maintains a rapid response capability to manage most security matters and receives assistance from the Pomona Police Department involving criminal incidents.
