PharmD International Pathway Program
Welcome!
If you have earned a bachelor’s degree or equivalent in pharmacy and want to advance your career by earning a PharmD degree, then consider our PharmD International Pathway (PIP) Program, which was formerly known as our International Post-Baccalaureate Program (IPBP). Our PIP program is targeted to domestic and/or foreign-trained pharmacists with a bachelor’s degree (B.S. or equivalent), who wish to earn a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree. By qualifying for this program, you advance directly into the second year of the PharmD curriculum, which enables you to complete your degree in 2.5 years.

International Student Services (ISS) is responsible for providing support and assistance in immigration advising, maintaining immigration status, maintaining information and documents on foreign students and their dependents in the Student and exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS), staying current with rules and regulations and interpreting and applying the rules and regulations set forth by the Department of Homeland Security.
Western University of Health Sciences has approval from the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs to certify students eligible to receive VA educational benefits. The School Certifying Officials that are located on the Pomona, California campus assist all students who receive VA educational benefits. We cannot assist you with determining your eligibility for benefits.

Start your day with a faculty-led overview of your program of interest, then personalize the rest of your Experience WesternU by choosing from a variety of program-specific and university-wide sessions.
Throughout the morning, opportunities may include:
- Hear directly from faculty about your program’s curriculum, learning experiences, and highlights
- Connect with current WesternU students and hear firsthand about their experiences
- Explore classrooms, labs, simulation spaces, clinical learning environments, and other facilities
- Participate in hands-on workshops and interactive demonstrations
- Learn more about the admissions process and how to prepare a competitive application
- Explore financial aid resources and get answers to questions about financing your education

Choose from available hands-on workshops, facility tours, student panels, admissions sessions, and university-wide opportunities to build the Experience WesternU schedule that best matches your interests.Session offerings vary by academic program and may have limited capacity.
